Personality Styles
There are 5 general personalities - Classic, Creative, Dramatic, Feminine and Natural.
Classic
- if you are classic you will prefer to wear clothing which is timeless
in style. Trousers, slim skirts, dresses, all worn to skim the body.
They will be neither too lose nor too tight and will rarely date. Your
jewellery will be tasteful and in keeping with the style of your
clothing. You will prefer to wear plain or traditional prints. If you
wear runners or gym shoes it will be to exercise in and not to feel more
comfortable when shopping.
Creative
- well anything goes here. You are no slave to fashion nor really care
what anyone thinks of your style. You will wear what makes you feel good
no matter how in or out of style it is. You do care about your
appearance and will take the time to create your look but it is a look
that no one can recreate.
Dramatic
- the words very, very come to mind here. the Dramatic person will like
very short, very long, very wild, very tight and so on and so forth.
They often will be in the latest designs, the cutting edge of fashion
and love to stand out in a crowd. their appearance epitomises who they
are. they will not be caught dead in an old lifeless track suit unless
they want to cause a comment, intentionally.
Feminine, or for the men reading, the Gallant
- you love to look good, like the Dramatic but without the showmanship.
Your clothing will be soft and comfortable to wear. For the women you
will love frills and flounces. Both sexes will love softer colours and
fabrics. Silk, satin, velvet and wools which are soft to touch. You will
prefer suede to leather for your shoes.
Natural -
You are easygoing and relaxed. Clothing is more functional than
fashionable for you. It is feels good and looks OK you are happy. You
are happiest in a pair of trousers than skirts and high heels. Yes that
will go for both sexes. The natural person is happy in their own skin,
doesn't try hard to conform but does understand that they can let
themself down for special occasions and can find dressing up for a
special event a challenge.
The more you understand your own true
personality style the easier you will find getting dressed, buying
clothes and the more confident and comfortable you will be in how you
present yourself everyday.
The Colour of 2011
 Pantone
has announced the colour for 2011 to be Honeysuckle. The pantone
honeysuckle is pink with a touch of orange through it. I have included a
couple of outfits which I found here in honeysuckle. If you have a warm
base to your colours you will love the honeysuckle pinks. If you are
cooler I would recommend incorporating splashes of honeysuckle into your
accessories.
As we come into Autumn in the southern
hemisphere honeysuckle will be a sensational accompaniment to your
winter blues and chocolates.
Up in the Northern hemisphere you
are looking forward to the end of your winter and the blossom of Spring.
You will be able to enjoy Honeysuckle in its full glory in dresses,
shirts and shoes.

I
kept promising and it is here. Starting Wednesday 3rd March, the
Finding Joy workshops will be begin at my new location in Port
Melbourne. Some of you will have read the book and know the fun Joy has
with the girls in transforming their lives. Or you may wonder what the
hype is all about. I invite you to come along at 7.15 for a 7.30 start
to 16 Rocklea Drive, Port Melbourne. Spaces are limited. You will
experience the first of the seven steps which Joy takes the girls
through. Finding Joy brings the book alive and recreates the experience
into your life so that you too can transform your lie just as Louise,
Cynthia and Rebecca did. If you can RSVP so I know how many
chairs to set out so you don't have to stand or sit on the floor until
9pm. What do you need to do. Simply email me back to let me know that
you and which of your friends are coming. You only need to invest your
time. I will provide everything else.
Miche Bags
Late
last year I discovered the Miche bag phenomenon. Immediately i was in
love. I am now that girl with dozens of handbags, only I never have to
change the contents of my bag. I simply apply a new outer shell to it. I
can travel for a weekend away wit a different handbag for every event
and it only takes the space of a dress in my case. Do I have your
interest? Grab some girlfriends together and I'll bring them over to
show you how they work.
Make-up Made Easy
Again
it is back for 2011 as well. Once a month I will be hosting Make-up
Made Easy events here in Port Melbourne. Women from 16 - 80 have enjoyed
the fun of a Make-up Made Easy workshop. Workshops are held in Port
Melbourne or if you have a minimum of 6 girlfriends together I can come
to you.
For an investment of only $35 you will learn how to
put your own make-up on, quickly and easily to create a model finish. I
have a quick video here of my applying my make-up. this was recorded for
the www.fivehive.com
website by Yvonne Adele. There are a couple of other videos showing how
easily I make-up everyone elses faces as well. you too can get the same
finish.
Port Melbourne
You
may be wondering why I chose to move to Port Melbourne. My main reason
to move was that after 9 years of working for myself I was getting
lonely. Working from home has it's benefits, still sitting in my PJ's at
11am but the downside is that I may not see another living soul aside
from my dogs and husband for an entire week. The office here is attached to Clever Chics.
They host their own networking functions but also have a great range of
clothing in the warehouse next door. I will be working with skim to
select a more extensive range of corporate women's wear from size 8 -
26. Eventually we will also have a beautician onsite, as well as a
nutrients and minerals ideal for women. I am trailing a couple of the
products and will report back to you next month. more than anything at
least 4 days a week I will be in here and would love to see and have a
chat with any of you who may be passing through. For those
readers who are also speakers, trainers or run events we have a room
upstairs which can be hired out by the hour, the evening , the day or
the week.
